These Ordinary People Became Millionaires Overnight, You Won’t Believe How They Earned Their Millions

Imagine going to bed poor and waking up the next day with so much money that you don’t know how to spend it. This scenario might seem like a page ripped out of a fiction book, but for some lucky folks out there, it became a reality when they became wealthy overnight and lived to tell their stories.

Pierre Le Guennec

This man was accused to stealing Picasso’s work

If you thought that being an electrician isn’t a lucrative career path, one mega-millionaire, Pierre Le Guennec, will change your perspective on wealth.

The man was once hired by the famous Pablo Picasso in the 70s and during his career, he was given several valuable pieces of art by the iconic artist, although he and his wife were later accused for stealing the artwork instead of being gifted it.

However, the case was thrown out of court after prosecutors failed to find enough evidence to convict them.

Sandy Stein

Sandy Stein started her first company when she was 52 and working as a stewardess for an airline. The air hostess had a brilliant idea of inventing a key clasp for women who were prone to losing their keys inside their handbags.

From a stewardess to a businesswoman

The product was massively innovative for its time and it became such a hit that it sold over a million units in just under a year. Needless to say, Stein quit her day job to work on her business, which is now worth $25 million.

Rick Norsigian

Ever heard the saying that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure? That’s exactly what happened to Rick Norsigian, a painting enthusiast from Fresno, who unearthed an artistic goldmine at a garage sale.

The man paid 50 bucks for a few photographic prints which later turned out to be negatives belonging to Ansel Adam, the historic photographer who was known for capturing the beauty of nature. The negatives sold for $200 million, making Rick wealthy overnight.

Oscar Stohler

Miner Oscar Stohler didn’t even in his wildest dreams think that he would strike such a huge fortune one day while drilling on his property in North Dakota.

The man found a literal goldmine while drilling, unearthing a large reserve of crude oil hidden under his farm. The man traded in his old truck and mining cap for an expensive suit because the discovery made him a millionaire overnight.
